As an Assurance Associate for R&A CPAs in Tucson, you will perform financial statement audit, review, compilation and consulting services for a wide variety of clients. Under the direction of the Assurance department Manager, you will utilize your experience in financial reporting basics and knowledge of GAAP for the detailed planning and management of the audit and review process. A firm understanding of audit standards, rules and regulations (GAAS and GAGAS) will serve you well with the ability to work with a wide variety of industries and clients. Your polished business communication skills - both verbally and in written form - is required for effectively responding to review notes, asking questions and reporting to management as required. Your consultative approach will be essential as you serve as a business advisor to our clients, managing client expectations, leading change efforts and making recommendations on business and process improvements. The opportunity to manage, develop, train and mentor staff is available and an area that you can work your way into as you grow with the company. Previous public accounting experience coupled with your CPA will give you the tools needed for this rewarding opportunity. The ability to act as the In-Charge Accountant with our clients and your experience in drafting complete full-disclosure financial statements and reporting to management will add to your candidacy.
