Assistant Vice President/Controller
TwinStar Credit Union is looking for an individual to fill the position of Assistant Vice President/Controller. This position is located in our Lacey Corporate office and reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer.
Duties include: Providing leadership and direction to the Finance, Accounting and Purchasing departments; Controlling all credit union accounting activities including the annual budget, regulatory compliance, and reporting. Managing the corporate purchasing program. Representing management as the liaison for internal and external audits.
Candidates must have: A thorough knowledge of accounting processes and regulations; 4-7 years related work experience in a financial institution, (preferably a credit union) with two years of supervisory experience. Strong PC systems skills using the Microsoft Suite of products. The ability to communicate effectively (both written and oral). The ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with staff, management, and members.
A Bachelors degree in Accounting or closely related field is preferred. Knowledge of Profit Star asset/liability management software a plus.
