Work with corporate FP&A to prepare and analyze actual results compared to forecast. 2. Provide actual trending variance analysis as part of the monthly close. 3. Collaborate with corporate FP&A to provide actual metrics and input needed to ensure the forecast model is maintained to reflect current actual metrics. 4. Guide accounting management in analyzing actual results by providing reporting and analysis which can be used to assess completeness and accuracy in the reported results. 5. Develop tools, reports and alternatives to provide information more timely, accurately and efficiently. New Product and Process Improvement Support: 1. Provide analytical support to assist business analysts working on new products 2. Provide assistance in analyzing and testing new product requirements 3. Provide assistance in developing accounting requirements and test plans and scripts 4. Develop and implement process improvements enabling efficient and effective accounting processes 5. Develop and publish standard ad hoc reports for use in decision making and analysis Special Projects and Ad Hoc Analysis: 1. Support financial and other cross-functional projects which include process improvements, analysis and reporting, and user acceptance testing Qualifications: BA/BS Accounting CPA preferred or completion of the CPA exam Telecommunications,High Tech, Start Up Environment industry experience preferred Strong advanced Excel skills 3-5 years Financial modeling and analysis 3+ years understanding P&L, Balance Sheet We are proud to be an EEO/AA employer M/F/D/V.
