Accounts Receivable/Collection Specialist
KPAC, a dynamic international logistics company, is seeking a sharp, highly motivated, detail oriented Accounts Receivable/Collection Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity for a well-qualified individual. We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package.
The position details are as follows:
Job Responsibilities:
Daily cash application to customer accounts and bank deposits. Track short payment items and evaluate validity of deductions. Research and resolve customer deductions and customer disputes. Prepare account status and aging reports for management. Send monthly statements. Resolve unapplied payments. Review status of accounts and initiate collections. Manage collections and reconciliation on a daily basis. Work closely with the Sales and Customer Service Departments on collection efforts. Regular follow-up on all past-due accounts to ensure prompt payment. Respond to customer inquiries regarding status on accounts in a timely manner. Maintain complete and current customer contact information. Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Job Qualifications: Minimum 5 years experience with Accounts Receivable and Collections. Experience with heavy reconciliation and deduction resolving skills Manage high volume collections. Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities in a fast paced work environment. Must be able to produce high quality, accurate work in a timely manner. Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong customer service skills and the ability to interface with all levels of management. Able to meet deadlines and work well under pressure Ability to work as part of a team and to adapt easily to change. Solid knowledge of MS Office, Word, Outlook and the Internet. Must be proficient in Excel. Must be willing and able to quickly learn new software. Requires excellent organizational skills and strong follow-up skills. Must be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and reliable attendance. Great Plains software knowledge strongly preferred.
