Accounts Payable Director

A multi-billion dollar, industry-leading, publicly traded company is excited to add an Accounts Payable Director to their staff as a direct result of growth and development.  The company encourages innovation and is eager to find a new senior level manager who can provide a strong sense of leadership for the group.  Working independently and with the current senior management team, the Accounts Payable Director will be responsible for the following: -Review and improvement of Accounts Payable processes and procedures -Management, development and direction of a large staff -Sarbanes-Oxley compliance -Management and oversight of the entire Accounts Payable functionThe ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications: -BS/BA in accounting, finance, business administration, etc. -CPA/MBA preferred -Prior experience either managing the Accounts Payable function at a large company ($1B +) or as a controller within any size company, having managed a large staff previously -Management (direct or indirect) of a staff of at least 20 -Must have a large accounting system - Oracle, SAP or Peoplesoft -Experience dealing with high-volume, multi-location accounts payableThis is an opportunity to grow and thrive within a culture that advocates personal and professional growth.  The company offers a strong compensation and benefits package, including an available relocation package for this particular opportunity.  Accountants Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
