Accountant (Fixed Assets & Tax Guru) (858)576-3140Description: Volt is seeking for a stellar Accountant! Our client needs assistance with financial close consolidation. The ideal candidate is extremely proficient with Tax Compliance Management, Inventory, Fixed Assets and Bookkeeping.Main Duties/Responsibilities:*Review tax notices received from Federal, State, County and other governmental agencies.*Prepare raw data for tax return preparation (Income, Sales, Use, Property tax, etc).*Communicate with AATC (American Accounting and Tax Center) and support tax return preparation and compliance task.*Prepare tax payment voucher and perform tax filing.*Maintain good record of all tax returns filed.*Review company's asset acquisition and perform corresponding journal entry.*Assist fixed asset retirement and maintain updated fixed asset book.*Coordinate and participate physical inventory accounting.*Prepare plan for physical counting of fixed assets, perform counting and produce report for management about results.This is a 12 month contract opportunity.Volt Services Group not only serves Fortune 1000 companies, but we are among the select group of staffing companies to have been named to the Fortune 1000.Volt Services Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer with a commitment to fostering diversity in the workplace.
