PSC, Inc. is a Tacoma business that specializes in third party debt collection and accounts receivable management solutions for clients throughout the Pacific Northwest.  Established in 1960, we are one of the largest privately held accounts receivable management businesses in the South Sound region.  Serving our clients is our top priority and we strongly value the relationships we have built throughout our history.  We are currently looking for Account Representatives/Collection Professionals for our Tacoma office. 

 

Our Account Representative responsibilities are as follows:

-Daily inbound/outbound customer service calls in order to establish amicable payment resolution with consumers

-Customer service follow-up on current balances due

-Documenting all consumer contacts and attempts in our fully automated and computerized system utilizing Columbia Ultimate Business Systems (CUBS)

-Daily review of new accounts including: matching accounts to existing database, reviewing new accounts for new information (address/employment/phone, etc.)

-Skip tracing (searching for consumers) - utilize information provided by clients’ and other sources to contact references for location information on consumers

 

Our Collection Professional responsibilities are as follows:

-Daily inbound/outbound telephone calls in order to establish amicable payment resolution with consumers

-Documenting all consumer contacts and attempts in our fully automated and computerized system utilizing Columbia Ultimate Business Systems (CUBS)

-Utilizing asset investigation resources to determine ability to pay, including but not limited to:  reviewing property records, completing applications for extended payments and wage verifications

-Working with our in house legal department on lawsuit requests, post judicial remedies (garnishments), personal injury claims, and settlements

-Daily review of new accounts including: matching accounts to existing database, reviewing new accounts for new information (address/employment/phone, etc.)

-Skip tracing (searching for consumers) - utilize information provided by clients’ and other sources to contact references for location information on consumers

-Complete requests from credit bureaus for verifying the status of accounts

 

PSC, Inc. offers 100% paid medical and dental insurance for all full time employees.  Our office hours are Monday – Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm with some flexible scheduling offered.  Full time employees are entitled to two weeks paid vacation after the first year of employment.

The ideal candidate would be someone who is outgoing, assertive, persistent and can multitask.  Dependability and reliability are a must.
